Elementary and Middle School Health Aid
25-29 hours/week Tuesday-Friday
Position begins August 2026
Salary: Beginning pay will be approximately $18.34 per hour, no benefits.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; First Aid certified and CPR certified (may obtain after hire); CNA certification and/or knowledge of basic health care practices and procedures. Fingerprint clearance and TB test required.
Job Description: The School Health Aide is a member of the multidisciplinary team, under the guidance of the school nurse and/or the direct supervision of the school administration, manages and performs various health services and clerical duties for the purpose of improving and maintaining optimal student health. The School Health Aid, under the direction of the School Nurse, is also responsible for providing student care, administering needed medications to the students, assisting, monitoring and/or administering treatments, assisting with vision screening, and clerical duties as assigned.
